What did you cook or eat today (May 2025)?

A few days ago i put smoked turkey legs and other turkey bones in a crockpot and deboned after cooking it down. There was a lot of meat and gelatine. Last night i made a turkey noodles casserole using the meat and gelatine along with my homemade egg noodles, a can of cream of mushroom soup, Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, lemon pepper, and heavy cream. I stirred in fresh spinach and topped with crushed potato chips during the last 10 minutes of baking. Really, really good.

I like saving the bottom of the bag of chips, whatever kind, and using them for breading! 👍

Dark in the kitchen, but here’s a frittata with potatoes, asparagus, cheese, and basil.

I bought turkey breast at the grocery store for 28 cents per pound. Froze them. Not a huge turkey person but I couldn’t pass up that price. Store clerk said they over ordered.
