Quick meal last night. 1 poached egg on toast for wife and I had 2 on toast. The last of the eggs.
Lamb steaks tonight with kumara chips. Aka sweet taters.

Today we took my niece and her husband out for lunch. A lovely Italian place, great food. First time for us two and maybe we ordered too much-I took this before they brought out the garlic mushrooms.

Basically just thinly sliced potatoes fried crispy. Homemade potato chips or crisps, in Akron we call them frips (fried chips).

I had leftover canneloni for breakfast. DH had a potato pancake and a slice of American cheese with 2 eggs over medium on top, thick slice of country style streaky bacon.

What JAS_OH1 said - fresh cut, in-house made potato chips/crisps, named after Saratoga Springs, NY, a place that claims to have invented them, but it’s myth more than anything else…never let facts get in the way of a good story.
