BTW that is Pad Thai on the left, and my Pad Ke Mao on the right, the Pad Ke Mao (drunken noodles) being fried egg noodles with beef in a chilli and Thai herb sauce.
Where we are in Koh Lanta we are quite near Malaysia so there is a Malay and Muslim influence to the normal Thai recipes.

Starters slow cooked pork ribs in tamarind and prawn parcels.

Mains Prawn green curry and beef massaman curry - too excited to remember to take a picture, but they were on point.

Pudding mango panna cotta with green tea sorbet and a pandan leaf creme brulee and coconut sorbet.

Drinks a Long Island Iced Tea and a hotel own invention, like a sour mojito. A bottle of Chillean rose with the food, and a couple of Moscow Mules to slump with afterwards.
