What did you cook or eat today? (October 2025)

Made some falafels from karadekoolaid posting a recipe here. I didn't use a whole bag I just eyeballed it all together.View attachment 135581
How did they taste?
And whats the response of the groomer girl's?

By the way, I love how you see something being made, maybe even something you don't now, then rush off, get the ingredients and make your own version :)

They taste like the ones I've had in Mediterranean restaurants in 'Vegas. 👍 The GG's get them on Monday with pita bread and tzatziki sauce. About half of them don't know what they are so this is an "on me" lunch to broaden their horizons...

I took notes per our earlier discussion, somewhere...

Please let us know what they say.
Will you serve the falafel hot?

And whats been the girls response to your other meals? I think you are pretty close to them saying "just surprise, make something you think we'll like"
I'll take them in the to go boxes and they can microwave as they get the opportunity to eat. They're service based so you never know when lunch is.

Here's today...

Sometimes catfish can get mushy. But also the condensation in the box might make the breading soggy on reheat in the microwave. Actually reheating anything with breading in the microwave makes it soggy. Might be good to find out.

I agree
Some things may be better eating cold than microwaved
I think esp for deep fried stuff. Best way to re-heat is a dip back in hot oil, but I realise that's not feasable in this case.
Do they have a mini-oven maybe?
