What did you cook or eat today? (October 2025)

I can't exactly remember what the other brand I got at the town store was. Just that it had the word Harbor in it.

But these wings have sailed :)

They've already been rolled over once to wet the other side.

But I have a bottle left. Maybe I'll remember this conversation and try jazzing it up to retain the teriyaki flavor when I use it.

Thanks for the input 👍
This is an excellent recipe I've used before.

Pippi's Groomer Girls got sausage and cabbage with lemon pepper potatoes and a homemade roll. I've never made rolls before and medtran49 posted a link here and I used recipe #1, the quick dinner rolls. I used half buttermilk and half water for the liquid and doubled the ferment and rest times. Was a very sticky dough. Next time I'll start with the 480 grams of flour.

Burned two of the sausages trying to run the BBQ and make everything else so ended up with 3 different kinds of sausage on their plates. They were very happy. 😃

Well, they certainly look good.

Just a tip, you want to have a soft, slightly sticky dough after you are done kneading when you are making rolls. You can add in more flour as you are kneading a little at the time. It won't hurt to knead that dough a little more if you need to add flour. My oldest DGD used to help me make dinner rolls when she was a little girl and she beat the heck out of the dough, first knead and shaping. They always came out great regardless.
