What did you cook or eat today? (October 2025)

Last night my 6 year old grandson made taco pizza. He was a big help. It’s was what he asked for when we asked him about dinner. I made tacos Monday. Thursday granddaughter and I had lunch. Taco place. So I wasn’t feeling the taco pizza but everybody liked it and he and I had a big time making it.

We had Jon King bagel specials for breakfast. One of my dearest friends (passed away 8 years ago) from Florida used to make me toasted bagels with cream cheese and crispy streaky bacon pieces on them for breakfast before we went out on the jet skis or boating. I like to add avocado or everything bagel seasoning sometimes but today we ate them Jon style. My DH got to meet him and we visited a few times and went fishing. Fond memories.

I just made a bunch of bread with Everything Bagel seasoning mixed in. 😋

I just got done peeling and deveining 1 lb of shrimp and am boiling the shells for seafood stock. I bought small potatoes and frozen vegetable medley (carrots, cauliflower, and broccoli) to make a chowder with half of the shrimp and the leftover grouper from last night. I bought 1 crab claw and took the meat out to add at the end to finish the soup. The claw shell is boiling with the shrimp shells.

As promised a "dressed sausage "
Leftover sausage split and filled with leftover mashed potatoes
Squirt of tomato sauce.
Back in the oven.
