Recipe What is your best 'Flavored' French Toast Batter?

Yeah, it congeals to more like a quiche to be certain since it cools, but it adds a new flavor and depth if you use syrups and sweeteners to bring it to a new level - cold eggy bread is actually kind of a delicacy at some places. It's not as disgusting as you might think either. Try it once, at least, properly done. Make sure the people cooking it cooked it the full way through first though. Nothing like soggy cold eggy pieces of bread. Ugh.
