Then you must get a CITES (Convention On The International Trade of Endangered Species) permit to ship them out of the country. Could take 6 months or more.

She's the one in the middle...

I don't have a decent photo of her dry, but this is one of her 'sisters' same breed but different colour variation...

Today

Both out hunting worms in the rain.

The white(ish) girl in the bottom photo is the one I routinely find pretending to be a wader (shoreline bird) but even she has bailed on that today.

She's given up on the ditch for obvious reasons! But she's been out in the field happily wading through the saturated field.

Whilst the Australian Wood ducks are routinely found up trees...

(Hubby took this photo through the car window hence the CAB radio aerial, it's the tree next to our main chook house (we have 2 coops)). There are 6 ducks in that tree.
