Yes, they pay cash and are always excited about what I'm bringing. I get it; cooking is simple down here in that you either boil it to death or fry it for most people and salt is the universal seasoning. I'm happy to enlighten them!

I just made a beer run, so stopped at the local grocery store for some Brussels Sprouts on the way. Beer isn't sold in my state's grocery stores unless you are a large chain with a special permit.

I had a hard time finding somewhat normal sized ones. Some packages had a few in it that were as big as limes. But I haven't had any sprouts in a while, so dug around until I came up with a decent package. Looking forward to them. Even though I don't typically serve them with either of tonight's dinner plans.
