I'll have to take another trip tomorrow!
You're absolutely right. That's not enough beer...

A good haul.It was shopping time and as usual I bought too much fresh ingredients.
Walking around the Chinese market, I could smell coriander (cilantro). Followed my nose and found it. Bought 20 bundles. Pls don't ask me why!
Luckily they got roots attached so they stay good a while longer. Plus I need the roots for curry paste.
Also bought leek, bok choy, Chinese cabbage, oyster sauce, rice noodles and 2 unknown sauces of which I think they told me they were nice and not sweet..
The at the supermarket:
Bread, yoghurt, vinegar, gherkins* & chicken feet
At the German butcher:
Smoked cooked ham, weisswurst, beef sausages, neck pork chops, kabanosy, liver paté and eggs
At the veg shop (I forgot I had bought at the Chinese place)
Tomatoes
Red onions
Brown onions
Carrots
Yellow & red peppers
And on my way back home 4 crates of mosi**
* The jar of the gherkins is a real handy size. A similar empty one is 150 kw, and the one with gherkins as well
** There is normally a beer shortage around christmas & new year
I get those at Morelo's Market....

What on earth did I think buying 20 bunches of coriander?
All I can think of was that it was priced by the kg, so it felt akward buying omething like 50 gr.
I think the roots will come off, then the stick blender & the ice cube tray
Yes, I have an emergency jar of cilantro cooking base in my fridge.Apparently coriander paste is good?!![]()

Culantro has the same taste as cilantro, but it's actually a different plant. Here in my garden, the damned stuff grows everywhere. In Trinidad & Tobago, it's called shandon beni.
Come to my house, and you can dig up 150 of them...I bought a culantro plant this year and was really surprised it’s alive
