Bunch of collard greens for a $1 on the side of the road.
Just curious - how did you prepare/conserve them?Don't remember when I picked them but now I've got some Roma tomatoes to store for winter. Jarred yesterday evening.
Jars, pint size, each got 1/8 tsp of citric acid and 1/4 tsp salt. Then tomatoes and then boiling water to 1"/2 1/2 cm from the top and pressure canner. 11 lbs. @ 10 minutes.Just curious - how did you prepare/conserve them?
Pippi is a lucky girlWent by Dollar Tree for cheap hygiene products and left with these.View attachment 131743
Potato skin things for me and the rest for Pippi. Interesting on the Luncheon Loaf. It has pork plasma listed in the ingredients, that's the protein, which isn't legal for human food sale in the US. So, they make this stuff in Denmark and it's imported as a food product that isn't represented by the ingredients.
