TastyReuben can I came with you two?
I'd like to have:
Clams Casino - never had that before but love Clams
For my main Lamb please
a side of Asparagus - ya needs your greens!
and dessert would HAVE to be Baked Alaska - I haven't had that in years!
Oh, and may I please have a goodly pour of Courvoisier VSOP - again, haven't had that in years too -
I no longer smoke, but I do enjoy sitting in a Cigar Bar cradling my snifter of hooch ... I do enjoy the smell of a good Cigar.
AHHHH! That would be the life

My dad used to smoke cigars at Christmas, still like the smell of them.

Here’s where we had lunch:

I like their mole warning.

I'd like to have a Sangria (or three) to start
Shrimp Chimi (never saw that before), but instead of Cheese Sauce could I just get some Sour Cream (Crema) and Guacamole on the side of it?
My two sides, I'd like Frijoles Ranchero and Elote
and then for dessert Fried Ice Cream
Of course, I'm probably not going to able to finish all of this, but I'll give it the old College try.

TastyReuben that's a real nice lookin' menu

"Authentic" is a bit of a stretch, but the menu sounds good. The proteins are a bit off -- chuck for barbacoa, pork steak for al pastor, pork (rib?) tips for carnitas, and Atlantic haddock for pescado. But, they are are reasonable substitutes.

Are the nachos individual chips with toppings, or served in a pile where some chips are loaded, and others have nothing? If they are individual chips with toppings, I'd start with some steak nachos. Chili relleño as an alternative.

Steak Rincon with refried beans and Mexican rice for the main. You don't see steaks in Mexican restaurants often.

Flan for dessert.

I have no idea, as we didn’t order any.

We were both very happy with our meals. It’s a new location, never eaten there before, right next to the international market, so we’ll be back.

Adding…Am I the only one who likes the haphazardness of Pile O’ Nachos over the individual thingies? I like how some of the chips get soggy.

To be honest, TexMex, which is what most Americans call "Mexican" does not have to be "authentic" to be good food. Now, I have had really bad TexMex, even a few of times in Texas. But, I've had bad Italian, bad German, and let of bad Cajun.
