coriander (seed or ground)

Coriander seeds are the dried fruit of Coriandrum sativum and are used as a spice, whole or ground in cooking.
Coriander (Coriandrum sativum) is an annual herb in the family Apiaceae. It is also known as Chinese parsley, dhania or cilantro. All parts of the plant are edible, but the fresh leaves (as a herb) and the dried seeds (as a spice) ground or whole, are the parts most traditionally used in cooking.
