My favourite food out of a tin is...

I hear you. It's been a while since I bought them. For me they became a little too salty, and now I have to watch my salt. But they sure were tasty.

Since £Sterling dropped against the Euro these have become too expensive to buy in the UK - last time I looked they were retailing at £16 per tin! The upside to this is that I have had to learn to make my own (having some tonight as it happens), which whilst tasting the part are much smaller than the genuine article. The French know how to grow ducks!
 
I love hearts of palm. Lots of people don't know about them, particularly in the UK, I think. I think I'll post a new thread about them.

Come on over! I'll take you out in the Everglades or coastal plains or central highlands region and we can spend a day of hard labor getting fresh "Heart of Palm":okay::D
