Steak, How do you prep it

Mg, I knew when looking at the pic someone would ask, and I thought it might be you,lol. We had friends for dinner recently, a go friend bought dessert with a can of cream. It's left over from that. I could have suggested something else like handcuffs,lol.

The way I prep steak is simply to salt it at least half an hour before and then brush some of the salt off before cooking on a high heat.

I've heard a thing where some folks say pepper burns over high heat, giving the steak a bitter taste.

I've not found that to be true.
 
I s and p and leave in fridge for up to 3 days. Aged fillet, equal butter and virgin oil. Searing hot pan. Perfect. Turn once.
