vegan

Veganism is the practice of abstaining from the use of any product created by or obtained from any living creature.
Veganism is the practice of abstaining from the use of animal products, particularly in diet, and an associated philosophy that rejects the commodity status of animals. A follower of the diet or the philosophy is known as a vegan. Distinctions may be made between several categories of veganism. Dietary vegans refrain from consuming animal products, not only meat but also eggs, dairy products and other animal-derived substances. The term ethical vegan is often applied to those who not only follow a vegan diet but extend the philosophy into other areas of their lives, and oppose the use of animals for any purpose. Another term is environmental veganism, which refers to the avoidance of animal products on the premise that the industrial farming of animals is environmentally damaging and unsustainable. Interest in veganism increased in the 2010s, especially in the latter half. More vegan stores opened and vegan options became increasingly available in supermarkets and restaurants in many countries.

Recipe Orzo Salad with Broad Beans, Preserved Lemon & Tarragon

This pasta salad is perfectly portable with no danger of the pasta going ‘clumpy’. The aromatic tarragon adds a twist of anise flavour to the earthy taste of broad beans. The preserved lemon and lots of lemon zest keeps this salad feeling fresh and lively. Adding a few chilli flakes looks pretty...

    Recipe (Vegan) Welcome Home Soup

This is another from my Sweet Bones cookbook for the recipe from a cook book with little to no use... It's only had little to no use because it's new. Technically I think the challenge is to use cookbooks that you've not cooked from before, but I honestly only have 1 that I purchased (3 came...

Recipe Spicy Mixed Mushroom Pizza (vegan)

You could of course use just one type of mushrooms here if you wish but the mixed mushrooms do look more dramatic. Recipe How To Make Stinky Tofu

Stinky tofu has two major secrets. One is that the tofu becomes stinky, but it is not stinky. The second is the method of ingredients and the production steps of the seasoning juice. Recipe Vegan (Red) Cheddar Cheeze

This is a bit of an experiment. Whatever the outcome, it is very tasty and hot out of the saucepan would make for an excellent melted red cheddar. The question that remains to be seen is how hard it sets and if it will melt again afterwards. Assuming there's any left, I'll let you know. Now...
