Celery - do lo love it or hate it?

I hope to grow celeriac / celery root either this coming year, or the next. I'm really only getting started out on veggies. My old home back in Connecticut was in far too much shade for most of my ideas. I did find that the root does last a LONG time in the fridge, when I bought it in the past. Didn't see any this last year, alas...

I use celery in soups and stews. Love it in stirfrys too.
Often bring a small bag of celery into work for a mid-morning snack.

Great for snacking when I binge watch Netflix. (Much healthier than a bag of chips)

I dislike the taste, always have done. Prefer Chinese radish (daikon) in my Bloody Mary.

Last time that I remember having a Bloody Mary was on the Acela train in first class on the way to Washington, DC. At 150mph!! in fact. I had a few!!
