Mine stays in the oven which is rarely used for anything other than bread baking. If I do put anything else in there, I put another shelf in just above the baking stone. Although the curry pie was baked in a tin, I put the tin on the baking stone. The heat from the stone made the base of the pie nice and solid - it would probably have gone soggy in just the tin.Nice! The baking stone idea is a good one. Not that I have a baking stone any more since my daughter managed to drop it down the cellar stairs!
