Finally found a recipe for dairy free flapjacks that is really tasty, nice and delicious, but a touch sweet...

Ingredients
200g demerara sugar
200g golden syrup
200g Pure sunflower spread
1/2 tsp salt
400g porrige oats
juice of 1/2 a lemon
optional 90g - fruit, dairy free chocolate, coconut

Method
If you have scales that allow you to put a pan on them and re-zero them, then use those and weight out golden syrup, sugar, sunflower spread, salt into that. Now heat the contents until all of the sugar has dissolved. Add the oats, lemon juice (I may try adding juice of entire lemon to next one) and any fruit/chocolate being used and mix well until all fruit & oats have been covered. Cook at 180C in suitable flat tin for 15-20 mins. Allow to cool completely before removing and cutting up. Apparently it makes 24 - with the tins I used I only got 18.

They arevery sticky and very nice - more of that treat you have earned rather than anything else, but they are the closest I have found to 'normal' flapjacks.
