Flavourless Cooking Oils

I've recently started buying this instead of olive oil for salad dressings etc. instead of extra Virginia olive oil. I love the flavour and the price (half that of cheap olive oil).

I've not tried it but I think I will, now.

Did he specify what the nut oil was

'groundnut' was what @Eating Chicken said - in the UK, at least, that means peanut oil. Unlike walnut oil it can be a neutral cooking oil although there are more concentrated forms of peanut oil which can be used as 'finishing' oils, in the same way as walnut oil. Not that I'm an expert but I learned this from a bit of research!

We had my father in law staying with us after Christmas and I came down stairs one morning to find him frying sausages in my walnut oil! Who needs more fat to cook sausages! Especially walnut oil!

 Oh dear me!
