Low calorie, no weird ingredients, easy and tasty. What's not to like about home made jelly candy?
What you need:
400 ml (milliliters) fresh fruit juice or puree
100 ml honey or agave syrup or any other liquid sweetener you like
50 grams of gelatin powder
A greased brownie tin or molds to put your jellies in
1) Mix juice with sweetener, and heat in a pan until frothy but not boiling.
2) Thoroughly mix in the gelatin powder
3) Pour mixture into the tin or molds while still hot
4) Let cool for an hour and after that let set overnight in the fridge
5) If using a brownie tin, cut jelly into squares and store in a tin. Otherwise remove the jellies from their molds and store in a tin. Keeps well for at least two weeks.
