Is the seed low protein as well?
Probably not. I suppose it would be similar to any seed. I used tinned jackfruit as its difficult to find fresh here.

You know the monks they are vegetarian, they don’t eat fish sauce, only soy sauce. Fish sauce enhances meat. That's one to try out. Certainly cheaper than the real thing!
No onions or garlic? Which monks are those? You know the monks they are vegetarian, they don’t eat fish sauce, only soy sauce. Fish sauce enhances meat.
I believe my mom said they also avoid garlic and onions, these stuff can get them too excited and further away from their goal of celibacy.

I'm not sure about Buddhism, but I do know that strict Hindus avoid onions and garlic. That's why they use hing/asafoetida. Same reason, different religion.I believe my mom said they also avoid garlic and onions, these stuff can get them too excited and further away from their goal of celibacy.
Good! Like extra crispy bacon. Burns easily so watch carefully. Trick is to scrape off the white pith so that the skin alone is what the flavourings cling to.So, how's the mouth feel on that bacon thing???

I think one religion maybe related to the other.
