Recipe Honey Basil Garlic Pesto

Honey Basil Garlic Pesto:

Ingredients:

1) Basil - 6 tblspns.
2) Parmesan cheese, grated - 6 tblspns.
3) Garlic - 4 large cloves
4) Garlic, crushed - 1 tblspn.
5) Olive oil - 1/8 cup
6) Lemon juice - 2 tspns.
7) Honey - 2 tblspns.


Procedure:

1) Chop the garlic cloves into small pieces.
2) If crushed garlic is not available, crush two additional cloves.
3) Mix the dry ingredients, basil, Parmesan cheese and garlic.
4) Mix in the wet ingredients, olive oil, lemon juice and honey.

NOTE: Adjust ingredients to taste.

5) Refrigerate.
6) Use on pastas and other foods as desired.

Never thought about honey as ingredient to add to pesto. I am intrigued. What about the taste?
