Okay so here I am again for an update.
The message to the people from the Prime minister was a call to unity in trying times, and he explained how the government intends to protect the most vulnerable in this health crisis. It was a good speech and did make me confident in how the government is handling things. It made me feel safer.
One of my friends was literally breaking down in tears on Facebook yesterday because she has not been able to buy food all week due to the ridicoulus amount of panic buyers, and because she is on minimum wage she can't afford keeping a larder. She works in healthcare and the idea of this upset me and my husband so much that we ordered a week's worth of food for her family from a posh company that's the only one still delivering and which they wouldnt be able to afford.
She and her husband broke down in tears again because we gave them this food, we're just happy to help and hope this will give them a boost to get through these weird times.
Healthwise I feel a little run down, still no fever but a gradually worsening headache since yesterday which is getting really painful. Husband is coughing and tired but otherwise ok.
