Recipe Mighty Matcha Morning Smoothie With Banana & Almond

Ingredients
-1 large sliced frozen banana (peel, slice into 3-4 pieces, & freeze the night before)
-3/4 tsp matcha green tea powder
-1 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
-1 tsp soaked chia seeds (optional)
-5-6 slices raw, rinsed white mushrooms (just under 1/4 cup)
-1 tsp chopped frozen spinach (optional)

Method
Blend until smooth.
Enjoy creamy & cold.

Odd and interesting recipe at the same time. Did you have breakfast with it? I think I'll use soy milk instead of almond milk.
 
Similar question here to the one I asked about the impact of mushrooms: does it add an earthiness to the drink? Very interesting...you're making me look at mushrooms in a different way than I did before! :)

Depending on which is used you'll find a texture to the drink that's not there if you were to eat them.
