More Cookery Books.

I have one of her books bought second hand. It's quite good. She writes for the Telegraph I believe (which I try not to hold against her).
She does but also Waitrose, BBC Good Food, House & Garden and Radio 4 which as I type it I realise doesn’t make her sound anymore appealing 😂

Thanks for that. I’ll have a look how I to access PBS 👍
I care nothing for smoking foods, but I do like to watch those episodes because:

1. He looks like a crazed version of one of my brothers, and

2. There’s no end to what he’ll smoke, all explained in his somewhat demented low-key monotone:

“We’re at the SmokeBlast 4000, where I’ve got a pork…shoulder in a coffee…rub smoking…and we’ll serve that with a…beautiful smoked coleslaw…using my…small box smoker for that…and smoked dill pickles will make a…nice addition and we smoke those with…fresh dill that’s been soaked in…smoked water…and that all gets washed down with a…smoked sweet iced tea made with…lemons I smoked over a fire…in the back yard…and of course for dessert we have smoked vanilla bean ice cream and that has to be cold smoked…in a freezer I converted…to a smoke chamber…because…it’s ice cream…”

Never seen him, thinking that’s just as well 😂

I bought Steve Raichlen's "How to Grill" way back in the 90s. Great book, and I still use it. My favourite recipe is actually a grilled radicchio with a sweet/sour Venetian sauce involving honey, balsamic vinegar, raisins and chocolate.

Bought this on clearance for $5:

Amazon (where it still lists for $16)

I’m thoroughly smitten with Dorie Greenspan, she’s like a little food pixie who brings delicious treats to those who believe in her. She’s pure pleasure to listen to/watch, so I was quite happy to find this book in hardcover for so cheap.
