That sounds about right as my research (checking on GoogleAccording to Medical News Today, table salt has about 40% sodium, whereas MSG has around 12%.

Still no excuse to only blame Chinese Food for causing made up problems that never existed.In the UK you won't find many of these products have added MSG. Noodle seasoning will often include it. In the UK, ketchup doesn't and neither do most canned soups of potato crisps. Its simply not used very much in the UK. Certainly, the ready meals I see, don't contain it.
