I have a big box of them. I don't used them when I am home and awake, so he can go outside to pee often. I use them when I leave the house for a while, and when I am trying to sleep more than 30 minutes at a time.

He doesn't mind wearing one at all, which surprised me.

Dogs have dignity, too. At least the intelligent ones like standard poodles, which are very, very smart (as you know).

With people, well it all Depends.
 
Daughter is cooking tea for us. Shes been in hospital with health scare. They say she has long covid and chest infection. Shes home but wants to cook for us to thank us.
I'm drying towels on a clothes horse under heat pump. Winter is nearly over.

I made sure that our GSD thought he was the most handsomest boy on the planet with his "pants" on.
He also insisted on wearing a neckerchief, part of his ensemble, every day!
I'd ask him when I'd get him all cleaned when I'd get home from work, "where's your clean pants?" and he'd go straight over to the bin that I kept them in.
Very smart doggie, as I'm sure Teddy is caseydog

Teddy hates neckerchiefs/bandanas. The groomers love to put them on him, and he tries his hardest to take them off. I immediately take them off when I pick him up at the groomers.

Kate was like that. Hated those things, and hated the froo-froo spray the kennel used to want to spray on her when we’d pick her up.
 
  • Baking an apple pie with my family's recipe as detailed here Recipe - Whole grain oatmeal apple pie (family recipe) for my birthday. First thing I baked since the ICU! It's setting in the fridge now, as the recipe explains.
  • Visiting a friend tomorrow for boardgames and bites
  • Going out for sushi on sunday for my birthday
  • Trying to do not too many things due to the current heatwave

The board game day didn't happen for me due to unfortunately, too much pain and today's celebration has my priority. My husband did go because my friend had prepared some beer and bites. My friends knew this could happen so they took it well, fortunately.

Good news is resting up yesterday did help and I am now in less pain. So today's plan will continue.

I'm seeing a pain specialist tomorrow, I hope I can get some help managing this. Thanks SatNavSaysStraightOn for letting me know this service exists.

Oh no worries, I won't let pain ruin my day. But in order to do that I had to rest up yesterday.

And to compensate, two other friends invited us to a high tea next week ❤️

Definitely feeling happy today! 🥳

It’s been a flurry of activity here all morning. Someone apparently tried to break into an FBI facility in Cincy, fled up to my highway exit, got off, got shot, and now the FBI, two county sheriffs’ departments, SWAT, a care flight helicopter, and ambulances are all staged about a half-mile from my house and we’re all on lockdown.

Seems it was our turn today.

Man walked into the local airport (so capital city airport), say down in staying before security for a while and then decided to shoot 3 rounds into the glass front of the buildings.
He was arrested.

We were down that way when it happened but didn't see it hear anything thankfully.
