Plans for today (2025)

I like the early ones but this one is 4 PM to 10 PM. Got there yesterday at 3:55 and it started pouring like crazy so I left so as not to risk this expensive phone.
My rather old Samsung 9+ is water resistant up to about 5 feet for 30 minutes. I need a new phone but I don't want one that doesn't offer the same protection.

Most of the higher end phones are rated IP68 or IP67 now.
IP68 is submerged in 5 feet or greater 👍
The Pixel 10 I just got (my freedom phone that only my immediate family have the number for) is IP68.
It’s usually listed in the specs as one of the phones brags so it’s easy to find or google.

Didn't know any of that so now I can go home early... Just looked mine up and it's IP68 which from what I read is submerged in 1 meter of water. I still didn't want to get wet since my clothes and shoes have no ratings. Plus, glasses are a drag when wet...

It has to be over 1metre. Most manufactures (like Samsung) choose 1.5 metres (5 feet) or more.
They usually state how deep in the blurb.
IP68 (the 8 is the important part with water) is periods of submersion under pressure.

Im currently watching my neighbour across the road from me. Im trying to work out what he does.
What i know: they just arrived back from Melbourne. The guys parents own.the house. They are religious.
They moved in a month ago and Noone goes to work. Both in.their 30s and look fit enough. Two cars. They order takeaways almost every night.
I can't work out how they survive??
Im getting curious day by day

Maybe they work remotely?

Plans for today:
✅Get up at the butt crack of dawn (the sun wasn't even up yet) and take the car to the autobody repair shop ... the electric garage door bit the tailgate yet again!
✅Come back home and take a nap
✅Juice the 2 pounds of Meyer Lemons that are sitting on the back counter
✅Dice up the two Cantaloupes that need to be cut up before they turn
✅Finish dealing with the Roofing Company

It's too early for Cocktail Hour, but I will be having a Meyer Lemon Drop Cocktail with some cheese & crackers in a bit 😜

rascal do what I do:
take something that you've made over to them in a disposable container and introduce yourself.
"Hi I'm Russ, I live across the way there and I'm retired. By the way, what do you do?"

Im not that friendly neighbour. I will help if they need something? But we will wait to see if they are transient or not??
I will figure it out.
Atm im thinking she is "up the scooter "
