Salads

Oh, yeah, I'll occasionally do a straight-up fruit salad for a weekend breakfast - cut up fruit in some kind of light, somewhat sweet dressing.

This salad should get some comment as there are surely people who don't like anchovies.

This is an anchovy layered leafy salad.

I couldn't find my favorite anchovies, those rolled around capers.

I love anchovies in anything. Its fantastic with egg and potato in salad. Also in anchovy mayonnaise.

I was thinking of making a simple macaroni salad today, but I'm gonna put it off for another day.

Note that I've come to detest elbow macaroni. If I do get around to making macaroni salad it will be with Cavatapi pasta. That sounds much more exciting.

I have been gathering ingredients for a fruit salad.

You all already know that I love salads. I have them several times per week. I love how much variety one can have with salads.

I wish I didn't have a black thumb. I would love to grow my own vegetables but I don't know how and end up murdering hundreds of seeds so I gave up.

One thing about being so far out is I don't get to go to the Farmer's Market. I like Aldi's produce section and there is a bigger one in the college town 30 minutes away. I try to get there when I have to go that way for doctors' appointments.

Great topic!
