Sandwiches

I hope I can ask this here. It's sandwich related.

When you use cucumber on a sandwich, is it the whole slice? Is it just the white? Do you salt it and pat it dry to remove moisture?
Or is it all of the above?
The other side of the pond probably shudder at mine. Whole grain bread (sometimes toasted), with the crust, mayo x 2, no peeling of the cucumber, slice it kind of thick, lots of pepper, and bacon is optional. 😋

I now have tons of ideas which have occurred to me for sandwiches. But as I'm all on my own its not likely I will make many of them. However, I bought some corned beef slices (the UK sort that also comes in tins) as I did suddenly get a craving... maybe tomorrow. And then there are those coldwater prawns...
