I hate that too. But it seems to be the norm in American diners. Maybe I've been watching too many episodes of Man v. Food though...

So TR made a skyhigh sammie...but it looks really good. I'd be interested in seeing how he is going to stuff that in his mouth. Good thing he's at home!

It’s a spin on a typical party sub. I’d rather have the party sub, honestly, as it’s easier to cut, serve, and eat, but this is more impressive to present.

It’s meant to serve 8, but cutting it into 8 wedges, it just falls apart. I usually smoosh it way down and cut it into 5.

Our neighbor (the one who’s promised me smoked ribs at least a dozen times and has yet to deliver) will be eating well today. His wife is gone for a week, so we’ll be sharing it.
