Sandwiches

Sandwiches can be made with American biscuits too. I learned that today from watching Man v. Food (I really don't like that series, but occasionally I learn something).
Very much a thing here, yes. Hardee’s (a fast food chain) is known for their chicken-and-biscuit sandwiches, as well as their country ham biscuit sandwiches (both for breakfast).

The latter calls for this:

Just not cookie sandwiches. So it's got to be in between some sort of bread?

Oh gosh - it doesn't really matter at all. Its not a competition with rules. I don't think a wrap is a sandwich, for that matter, but I am sure others do. I was simply worrying about straying too far off topic.

There are sandwich cakes too, of course. A victoria sandwich to name but one!

They're made with flour and baked then something is sandwiched in between.
I still wouldn't call two crackers stuck together a sandwich but whatever floats folks boats 😂

As I said at the beginning of the thread mainly to avoid the “That’s not a sandwich” conversation -

“All sandwich versions welcome. Open, toasted, plain ol’ baguettes, wraps, your finest sourdough etc.
No burgers though if you don’t mind. Burgers are to my mind a different voluminous category!”

I'm gonna take a tiny minced beef patty and put it in between 2 crackers. Just for you 😅
