And I WISH I could get flat Rice Noodles! Yes, yes, I know that I could make them myself, but ...

It feels like the Asian version of a winter stew. I love it!

Only done it once during a cooking course in Vietnam. Great to try, but I decided that buying is the way to go

I looked and the only place I could find was selling 3mm ones out of the UK.

I can get them without a problem. Not always the size I want, but close enough

Do you guys lay your meats flat on a sandwich, or do you kind of "ribbon" them down gently? I always try to do the latter. I find it gives the sandwich more volume, and it just makes for a better picture and looks overall more appetizing.

Flat. I'm usually so hungry when I make a sandwich, there no time for faffing around!

Depends on the meat. Some of the “old world” lunchmeats are pretty stiff, even when sliced thin, so those go on flat.

I do like the look of a layered sandwich, though.

I worked at a deli so I do the deli “drape”. Nice thin cut meat “bunched/draped” on the bread. Looks nice piled up. Customers thought the sandwiches looked nice and fat.

No pic of this one but it was delicious so I'll put this bizarre combo down here. It's a kind of mash up of Max's sandwich shops Banh Mi and his Korean Gangster concept.

Sub roll slightly hollowed out.
Brussels and garlic pate on the the bottom layer,
Shredded bbq brisket,
A sprinkling of coriander and mint,
A fat slap of kimchi,
Salad leaves (shredded carrot and chopped romaine).
Crispy shallots,
A fiery chilli mayo in the lid.
