I went to a Portuguese bakery, close to where I left the car with the mechanic, and ordered pasteis de nata - their signature custard tarts.
ALAS! :eek: I was too early. They wouldn't be ready for another 30 minutes, so I ended up with a mille feuille, covered in some yummy caramelised cream. Not what I wanted, but it filled the gap.
