ok it's our grandsons birthday today, he's 7 and we share the same middle name, my son gave him that name. At our place when it's your birthday you get to choose entree main and dessert.
Harry chose:
Garlic bread.
Smoked chicken fettucine
Cheesecake.

I make my own pasta sauce from tomatoes from our garden in the summer and freeze. I make it with garlic, oregano and basil. Herbs from our garden. It's warmed through now, cream added. It will be served in 5 hours time.
Garlic butter home made for the bread. All our grandkids love garlic bread. The youngest nearly 5 complained to his parents after they had stayed during the week, that he didn't get garlic bread.

Btw, my wife and daughter don't like mushrooms, but everyone else does so I'm cooking shrooms and adding after the non shroom eating people have taken what they want, others can enjoy.

The sauce with tomato purée added, plus usual suspects. It's surprising how much meat you get from an average chook.
