I love these delicious soft breads. They're almost like the Turkish version of a hand pie, and definitely do make a good meal with a salad on the side.

Ingredients for the dough:
500 g bread or pizza flour
7 g instant yeast
6 g salt
50g Turkish yoghurt
40 ml olive oil
260 ml tepid water

+ 10 ml olive oil extra
And a cup of egg wash
Black sesameseeds

Ingredients for the filling:
100 g feta or other crumbly goat's cheese
Bunch of green herbs (I used dill and parsley)
2 onions
Seasoning to taste

1). Mix yeast, flour and salt in a bowl. Then make a well in the middle and add the tepid water, yoghurt and olive oil. Knead for 10 to 12 minutes. The dough will be slightly sticky.
2). Add the extra 10 ml of olive oil to another bowl and pour the dough into it. Cover the dough and let rest in a warm place until doubled in size for about 60 minutes.
3). Preheat the oven to 200 celcius. Peel and cut onions into halves, then cut into thin slices. Heat some olive oil on the stove in a sautee pan, and slowly caramelise the onions until golden. Finely chop the herbs.
4). Mix the onions in a bowl with the feta, herbs and seasoning as you like until you have it all mixed well.
5). Prepare your baking mat and cover your workspace with flour.
6). Make balls of the dough and roll them out with a rolling pin into circles of about 20 cm in diameter. Spread filling over one half, then fold the other half of the dough over it. Then fold the lower edges of the bread over the top, and smooth out until you have a half moon shape. Brush with egg wash to make sure the dough sticks together and sprinkle with sesame seeds. You should have enough for 6 to 8 breads depening on how big you want them.
7). Bake in the oven for 15- to 20 minutes or until golden. Serve with a salad and enjoy!

Is Turkish yogurt similar to Greek? Not sure I'd be able to find Turkish here. Those look really yummy btw.
