The mayonnaise and sandwich debate

Barriehie Dill pickles in a Grilled Cheese sandwich sounds really good! And yes, I do like it made with Kraft cheese.
I have used mayo on the outside of a Grilled Cheese, I couldn't tell you if it was any better or worse than using butter.
What I will say is, you can keep your Tomato Soup in any way, shape, or form :yuck:
I don't do tomato soup either!

Technically, a burger is a sandwich - at least in the USA.
On a plain old grilled cheese sarnie, yep, it works. Remember Velveeta? You don't want to cook it too much, however.
Cheese on toast - it chars and sticks to the roof of your mouth.
Velveeta always made me a bit confused. It seems weird that a "cheese" could be that shelf-stable. Plus, I've had my share of it, mostly when I was a kid, and I always remember it being very salty for my taste buds. I have no problem using a slice of classic Kraft for "whatever," but I've always been hesitant to grab a block of Velveeta. It seems like one of those items that will be sitting next to the Twinkies and cockroaches and still be edible after 173 years of nuclear fallout.

Put some Velveeta on a pizza. NOT.
There is one exception where I will put a type of "cheddar" on a pizza, and that's for a "hamburger pizza." Complete with cold pickle slices after it has baked, for a nice contrast. It's definitely a niche pizza.

I've heard of those, but not for me...

The way I would do it would be to have a nacho cheese sauce as the base sauce and then quality ground burger meat on top with some onions, and maybe some Colby/Jack sprinkled on top, bake it, and then put chilled dill pickle slices on top of that. You could also throw on some bacon on there as well if you want.

Well...if that's all there was to eat, I'd eat it, but if you put a pepperoni pizza next to it I'd choose pepperoni every time.
