Ah, I understand now. As in a "The Most recent meal I cooked " way, as opposed to "The Last meal I cooked" in a Roberta Flack deathbed confessional kind of way

Last meal requests? I know someone who wrote a poem consisting entirely of the last meal requests from people on death row. It was shocking, even humorous and sad all at once. I'll try to dig it out.

The most recent meal I cooked waz a delicious turkey vegetable rice. I still had left over turkey from thanksgiving so I threw that together

Steamed seasoned chicken, shell pasta and mushroom Alfredo sauce with added fresh baby Bella mushrooms. And fried squash.

Not really a meal, but custard, home-made egg custard yesterday and eaten as my lunch. It's all I wanted and took my fancy. It was very nice.
