What’s going on in your garden (2025)?

Mine looks neat when nothing is in it! Last week of Nov. last year.

Hello. Garden has been in for a few weeks now. So far so good. Potatoes, tomatoes, green onions, peas, beans peppers, cabbage, garlic. I finally gave up on carrots, radish and beets. The clay is too dense for them. I have some zucchini and cucumber in mounds right along the back fence. Not sure how they will do. Too much shade, maybe.
Top left is a patio stone pad I laid down for a small greenhouse I hope to build soon. It's been in that shed since last fall. lol

String border around it is to stop my dog from ripping and tearing through it. She can't help herself.

Looks good!

round here those pieces of cardboard would have got up and left overnight.... we have a wind farm locally for a reason. now way I can use them as weed suppression. :(
If I didn't use them I don't think I could keep up! Factory across the road a bit lets me have all the wood from shipping crates I can haul away so no shortage of weights. They'll rot as well so I just till then in when fall gets here.

The wood wouldn't be anywhere near heavy enough to stop things getting blown away round here 💨 😂

Are they? I honestly couldn’t comment on them I only remember them appearing as part of a mix and being quite sour, not necessarily in a bad way but definitely sour 🤷‍♀️
Oh yes, they're sour all right. But so is rhubarb, and tamarind. A touch of sugar and everything changes.
My mum used to make redcurrant tarts, with her own short crust pastry. Divine.

Yes but neither of those are masquerading as a red berry, you know the sort you have an expectation of.
Redcurrants look like sweet summer and taste like a gooseberry 😂
