What’s going on in your garden (2025)?

So the SVB's, squash vine borers, have already nailed my single plant and it's only been in the ground 5 weeks. 😕 So 4 days ago I started 2 more seeds so I can succession plant and keep harvesting. It's working!

I've been planting out lemon and lime trees and a wild mango.
Put new top soil in the pots and hopegully soon I'll have some cashews, mahogany and NZ spinach
Mahogany spinach or wood? I can't find a spinach variety called mahogany.

Mahogany is a tree.
Not sure if I got the Natal mahogany or Pod Mahogany
The spinach is New Zealand spinach which is actually not related to spinach. It's one that keeps growing and you harvest the leaves. Except that it doesn't like our summer
In your climate, it could become a pest

Enough plant pests already! Some things here can grow 5 cm/day. 😬

I've had to spray my tomatillo.
Powdery mildew :(
Trying bicarb of soda. If it doesn't work, it has to go, as it shares a half drum with bell peppers and (hopefully) madam jeanette chili's

That just might work. Found a read here on it. Let us know!
