What’s going on in your garden (2025)?

Everything would be dead if I didn't water it.
We normally have no rain between mid March and end November.
And even then only around 400 mm for the rainy season

That's more than a lot of places here get but that's a *long* time with nothing.

*Low budget* squash plant shades. Found these short border fence rolls along with some cut tree trunks on the side of the road where it was dumped. Used dead branches, Virginia Frost weed, and quackgrass for the "roof" and sides. Free stuff!

Found a right sized log to make my beer rock the right height...

Yes, and mine is compostable so at end of season I'll just till it all in!
