Have you had a look on eBay.co.uk rather than eBay.com? There’s a lot of them over here. If I remember correctly you have Churchill Willow pattern?

At this price I’m happy to post something like this (or actually this) to you, it might not make it in one piece but you never know 🤷‍♀️
You can consider it a pre-payment for the cup of tea we’re gonna have when I finally make it to America 😂

Mind you I’m not sure what’s happened with posting things to America since Trumple crumpled the postal service with tariffs 🤷‍♀️

That’s a really good price. Around here…$60 maybe, on eBay (which I never use).

I keep checking Amazon, Overstock, etc but they’re either nonexistent or crazy expensive. If my set of dishes came with three distinct plates, I’d just sacrifice three of them and make my own.

Trumplethinskin would probably seize those, then see the Churchill name, and go off on some crazy ramble:

“We love Churchill…we really do. He was great at the world war…the whole world, can you believe that?…He really handled that, though, he really did…of course, it took him six…eight years…I don’t know, let’s just say it was a long time…a long time…I coulda done it in two…three years tops…probably one year if I put my mind to it…one year…we’ve already stopped eight wars…nine wars…a lotta wars and it’s not even been a year, so that one, I coulda handled easy…and he got some dishes for it…tremendous dishes for afternoon tea…they love their tea over there, don’t they…seriously, enough with the tea already, we get it…so I should have some dishes too, right guys?…right?…so I’m announcing we’re selling some beautiful 100% genuine imitation gold leaf Trump Plates…we’re gonna Make America Eat Again…MAEA…say it with me…this one is suitable for nuggets…we love our nuggets…Eric calls them nuggz…puts that z on there like the kids do these days…maybe that should be dayz, like d-a-y-z…or even daze…’cause I’m usually in one most of the time…

The blue and white china arrived and it’s even better IRL.
Mr SSOAP is feeling down (the dog that’s just been put down was the one he had a special bond with) but the sight of the teapot and teacups cheered him up a lot.

It’s so pretty I’m really looking forward to getting some more. The matching cloth napkins were on special offer so they might be going through a cotton wash right now, I couldn’t say they are for sure though because that would mean owning up to having bought 12 napkins as well as the tea set (and a coffee machine and a hairdryer) and one is not fancying facing the reality of being a bit spendy recently 😬 😂

I missed expressing my condolences to all of you there - we’ve been through that here and even though it’s the way life is, it’s still gut-wrenching leading up to it, through it, and the aftermath.

I feel the amount of grief we go through is directly related how meaningful our adopted family members are to us, so your dog was very special indeed.

Cos I’m going to pile up the itty bitty sandwiches on the bottom tier of the cake stand in four distinct quarters.
So a hidden lazy susan under the bottom tier will mean all varieties are easily spun around in reach.

A lot of people don't understand you can bury grief by spending money on stuff.
They mistakenly think it's a psychological thing that needs tackling rather than burying under a mountain of parcels. Poor sad deluded fools 😆
