I now have the permenant filter to make coffee on the side where the caraf is. No more looking for paper filters or running out of them!!!!!!! :whistling:

What's the difference in the settings that determines different functions - guessing ingredients, times and temps? And recipe book?

Hold times and temperatures.

I just figured yesterday it'll probably work well for kimchi too! 🙂 Now I can make it in the winter time, I think. No idea where our cabbage comes from but in the winter it just doesn't have the lactobacillus to get started and I've a way to harvest that from my fermented pickles I made this past summer. 👍

I read the manuel for the coffee maker first. *I wanted to make sure that I had everything right before I used it for the first time. Don't want any screw-ups. :whistling:

My yogurt, cheese, wine, and kimchi maker should be here tomorrow. 🤞

Hey there msmofet, it arrived today and is well-built. 👍 The tolerances are close and it feels solid. I've got a batch in now for Greek yogurt.🤞It defaults to 10 hours but I'll be awake in 11...

So you are doing a 12-hour ferment?
When I did yogurt in the Instant Pot, it was an 8-hour ferment.

Yes, 12 hours. On my IP you can set the length of time. I usually set it for how long I'd be sleeping even though at 4 hours or so it'd be getting thick.
