Puff pastry is hard to make, so my pie crust is very easy to make. One stick of butter, one cup of flour, and then 1/2 cup of ice cold water.

Thanks! These were brushed with butter on the way in the oven and again once they came out. Destined for biscuits and gravy, so no honey (or sorghum, which would be the norm here).

Actually, puff pastry's not that difficult at all - roll, fold, leave, repeat, freeze if wanted. I do buy ready made where it's good quality
