Lunch today is artichokes, very simple seasoning, and a mixed salad with avocado, cherry tomatoes, chicken, a dash of mustard, a pinch of poppy seeds and Evoo + lemon juice

Comfort food lunch on this windy / cold February day... ham& scalloped potatoes with some smoked beef sausage tossed in for extra flavor.

This evening, smoked duck caesar salad. This included the first outing for our new black salad/noodle bowls.

Shawarma Chicken with Pomegranate and Tahini, from one of those Waitrose recipe leaflets. Was delish, and I got a "You can do this again".

Did it with some flat breads, I think the Persian type flavours made a nice change for both of us.

Do chickpeas count? I thought it was beans or does it include peas such as garden peas as well (so all legumes count) ? Confused now.

I posted a chickpea one, because here, we call them garbanzo beans, so I figured that was close enough.
