What did you cook or eat today (December 2022)?

We fancied a break from Thai for lunch, thus was the tastiest burger I have ever had, very light.

My little sis went to Thailand once and came back complaining that they didn´t know how to cook roast beef, the roast potatoes were raw and the tea was black - and weak.
I told her to sod off to Scarborough on her next holiday.

Someday I will make a perfect French omelette.

Not sure why all the herbs clustered in that one spot, they were evenly dispersed when the eggs went into the pan. Still tasty, in spite of the minor defects.

Evening meal

Mushroom & onion omelette, broccolini, warrigal greens, and a few tomatoes

Lunch on the beach at Koh Rok Noi. Fried rice, chicken red curry, deep fried chicken legs, vegetable curry followed by fresh fruit and cookies. All part of a snorkling trip. No picture of the food, but here is the location.

I'm beginning to wonder if you are in Thailand, I keep asking round here and nobody has heard of you.

I made mini cheesecakes. Had a problem with the tops cracking. (Any advice would be welcome.) I used cinnamon graham crackers and Trader Joe's candied pecans in the crust. I need to tweak the filling recipe a bit. They were pretty good.

(The tea spoon is for size reference)

Never heard of it either (but I hadn't heard of the 'The Watcher' either) - but having Googled some images of it, yours looks so much better than any other versions.

Spinach salad with HB eggs, bacon, caramelized red onions, lightly sauteed criminis, red potato chunks, and a warm bacon grease/red wine vinegar vinaigrette.

We have icebox banana pudding for dessert.

Dinner last night: starter:tvc had crab I had beef carpaccio

Mains: tvc had duck I had stuffed chicken

Dessert: tvc had tiramisu I had Thai lava cake it was lovely and gooey in the middle.
