Lunch today while out running errands was a Popeyes spicy chicken sandwich, with a side of Red Beans and Rice, and a sweet tea (iced, that is).

Made an old fashioned upside down pineapple cake to bring to work. Well, kind of old fashioned except swapped fresh pineapple for the canned stuff, and honey instead of sugar.

We had cordon bleu with roast butternut pumpkin sweet potatoes and new potatoes. I made a pepper sauce. It was quick and easy. And so good.

The first thing I made was an omelet. It was really good, but it didn't get me started on my food journey at all. Nor sewing, as I am terrible at that as well!

My food journey started in Florida after I dated a few guys who cooked in kitchens when I was in my 20s. That and the charter boat captains and boatmates who married my high school girlfriends and knew how to cook.

a) Beef?
b) Tender?
c) Loin?

I suspect it's 'b'? The tenderloins I get here are pretty darn tender - they just don't have any flavour. Give me a cheapo old ribeye any day!

You are correct.

There was very little flavour also.

It was a new supplier.
