Solo meal so keeping it healthy, salad of boiled potatoes, beetroot, cucumber, ice berg lettuce, boiled egg,and low fat cottage cheese with ranch seasoning and fried onion.

After experimenting the other day, I have now perfected Pork Scratchings (similar to Crackling but not the same as Crackling is baked where as Pork Scratchings are Fried):

Lol that's kinda true - those that you get in UK pubs such as 'Mr Porky' are really hard and given how expensive even an NHS dentist is nowadays it's best not to eat too many, compared to say a 'chicharron' (I'm accustomed to the ones from the Philippines) which are much 'puffier'.
Yours look great and quite worrisome for the teeth!

I can get several ounces of whole coriander seeds at the Asian store, 120 miles round trip, for a few dollars. It's a once or twice a year thing. Repurposed container...

I can get chicharrones here but have to get the ones at Walmart. The ones in the Mexican Markets are far too hard to eat with my remaining teeth!

I have a 5 ounce bag of coriander seeds arriving tomorrow. It was $5.99 (free shipping from Walmart since I made a curbside order for some other things).

With it just me and Pippi and Ozzie hanging out here I'm hard pressed to come up with an order that's free shipping at Walmart. That jar I got I bought in January and I've used maybe a tsp that I roasted for something.
Today was check day so lots of running around. Took Pippi to the bank and then back home so I could make the multiple stops. Starving so I fixed an open faced Spam and cheese on homemade onion bead...

Hi, yes, I am sure you don't drive to the Asian market for just coriander seeds, LOL! If we didn't have an Asian market that I like just 10 miles away I would make a mecca to one myself (there are several in Cleveland, 45 miles away). I too was hard pressed to find stuff to buy to reach that $35 for free shipping, but I purchased some toilet bowl cleaner, cocoa powder (to make more pumpernickel bread), hydrogen peroxide, cleaning vinegar, and a few other odds and ends to reach my quota. I won't need anything more from Walmart for awhile!

If there's an Ace Hardware around you check out the cleaning vinegar. Our local Ace has it for around 50% less than everywhere else. $13/gallon instead of $25.

I just got 1/2 gallon of the cheapo Great Value for around $2.50. I know it's not super duper but it works.
