First meal out. We bought this at the equivalent of a service station. There's a chain called Oliver's and about 50% of what they sell in 'naturally' vegan.
This was their Moroccan meal bowl.
Moroccan Vegetable Bowl
We ate it about 3 hrs after buying it. I know the hotel doesn't have anything I can eat, so last time we ended up in the airport and had an avocado roll. So I thought we'd try Oliver's this time around. It came with a lid and bamboo cutlery. Very nice.

That's a standard when the power is out. Back in the day I didn't have a camping stove so half of a cold can at each meal.

We have never had a power cut here and we've been here 38 years.

You're lucky on the power. Lots of houses around here have a whole house generator what with the hurricanes ripping by. I've got one just for the fridge/freezer.

Yeah even after earthquakes we only had a few small cracks in our paths. Our daughter lost her house and son lost power and water..they moved in here for 6 weeks. I bought a gen set in case I needed for freezers. Sold it a few years later. We are in a very good spot here.
Big 2 story house just for 2 of us.

Okay, shrimp/prawns are prepped with lemon butter, garlic, Cajun seasoning, and parmesan cheese. Macaroni and cheese with cream, gruyere, American, and triple sharp cheddar blend. Going on the smoker now.
Deviled eggs with smoked paprika.
Octopus for later has been cleaned.
Sesame encrusted ahi tuna for later.

Mr SSOAP had spag bol waiting for me 
Which is crazy cos I was riding along from the airport thinking I really fancy spag bol, I must make some, although it won't be the same because their ingredients are different.

Yeah, true, but you know when you have dishes in your wheelhouse you can do in your sleep? These are those. So not too strenuous.
